A job, step by step
- Offer. You see the job type, approximate area, distance, drive time and an estimated payout — Naklin's suggested price for that job. Accept or decline; declining never affects future offers.
- You confirm your price. After accepting, you set the final price. It can be the suggestion or any amount you choose.
- The customer sees the total — your price plus Naklin's service fee — before any work begins.
- You complete the job and the customer is charged that total.
| Example | Amount |
|---|---|
| Your confirmed price | $120.00 |
| Naklin service fee (Established tier) — added for the customer | + $14.00 |
| Customer pays | $134.00 |
| Goes to you | $120.00 — if paid through your own Square account, Square's standard card fee is charged to that account (see below) |
| Goes to Naklin | $14.00 |
Naklin's service fee
Naklin's fee is a flat amount per completed job, added to the customer's total. It is not a percentage of your price.
| Your tier | Service fee added to the customer's total | Guideline |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $8 per job | Where every Pro starts |
| Established | $14 per job | 50 completed jobs and a 4.7+ rating |
| Premium | $18 per job | 100 completed jobs and a 4.85+ rating |
Every Pro starts at Starter. Tier changes are not automatic yet — during launch Naklin reviews them using the guidelines above and tells you before your tier changes. Your current tier and fee are shown in the Profile tab of the Pro app. For jobs booked by a business customer under a negotiated contract, Naklin may charge that customer a different flat fee; that only changes what Naklin receives, never your price.
Fees Naklin does not charge
- No sign-up, onboarding or activation fee.
- No monthly or subscription fee.
- No percentage of your price and no per-lead charge.
- No penalty for declining, missing or ignoring an offer.
Card processing
Customers pay by card. How processing works depends on whether you've connected your own payment account:
- With your own Square account connected (recommended, set up in the Pro app): card payments for your jobs are taken through your account — you are the seller. Square charges its standard card-processing fee to your account, exactly as it would for any card payment you take yourself. Naklin does not mark that fee up or take any part of it.
- Before you connect an account: Naklin collects the payment and credits your full confirmed price to your Naklin Pro wallet. Card processing on these payments is covered by Naklin.
Payouts
- Square connected: money for your jobs lands in your own Square account — Naklin never holds it — and reaches your bank on Square's payout schedule. Optional instant transfers are offered and priced by Square.
- Naklin Pro wallet: your completed-job earnings appear in the Earnings tab and are paid out to your bank.
The exact payout timing for each method is stated in the Naklin Pro agreement you review before activating.
Tips, credits & discounts
- Tips go to you in full.
- Customer credits, referral rewards and discounts that Naklin offers come out of Naklin's service fee — never out of your price. If a credit is larger than Naklin's fee, Naklin's fee simply becomes $0.
- Naklin's customer guarantee: how guarantee claims that involve your work are handled is set out in the Pro agreement before you activate.
