Our license, and how pricing works
Two things you should be able to check about any locksmith before they touch your lock. Here's how to check them for us.
Verify our license yourself
California requires locksmith companies to be licensed by the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS). Naklin's license:
- Licensee: NAKLIN LOCKSMITH SERVICES (a California corporation)
- License type: Locksmith Company
- License number: LCO8368
- Valid: 07/29/2025 – 07/31/2027
- Go to the state's license search at search.dca.ca.gov.
- Search by license number LCO8368 (or by the business name).
- Check that the name, license type and status match what's above.
Every technician on Naklin also holds their own California locksmith license, which we verify before they can take jobs. You can ask to see it at the door.
How pricing works
- You tell us the job. We'll give you an idea of typical costs if you ask — the price ranges are on our booking page.
- The technician confirms the price before any work. Locks, vehicles and time of day vary, so the person doing the job sets and confirms the price for it before they start. You can say no.
- Naklin's service fee is added to the customer's total. It isn't taken out of the technician's price. You see the total, including our fee, before you approve it.
- You pay when the work is done — by card or cash — and get a receipt.
If anything about a price feels off, stop and call us at (310) 464-2466 before any work starts.
What we won't do
- Quote a bait price on the phone that grows at your door.
- Promise arrival times or all-hours availability we can't back up.
- Open a home, car or business without checking you're entitled to.

The same price-first steps apply to every job: home and apartment lockouts, rekeying, lock installation, commercial work and work for property managers.
